Resources: consulting e-sources as a library visitor
Via lib.ugent.be, you can search directly in millions of scientific e-sources, mainly articles and (chapters of) e-books.
Students and staff affiliated with Ugent automatically have access to all e-sources for which a license has been obtained.
Library visitors with a library card can log in to the library catalog but do not have access to Ugent-only resources due to copyright restrictions imposed by publishers.
Tips for library visitors
- If you do not want to see e-resources in your search results, you can search ‘In the library’ only. You can make that selection left of the search bar.
- If you only want to only see open access e-resources in your search results, you can search within ‘Everything’ and then filter by ‘open access’.
